If you own a Wii U, then this game is a must-have, and is absolutely worth the $15 and then some! If you loved the classic Sonic games, then I have good news for you: this game is basically a classic sonic game but much much better.

The game was already fantastic on PC, but topped with fantastic controls on Wii U and Wii U exclusive free DLC coming (in the form of an entirely new playable character), this is by far the best version of the game to buy. If you loved the classic Sonic games, then I have good news for you: this game is basically a classic sonic game but much much Mmmmmm I smell another Wii U hidden gem. Without doubt, this is a Master Piece in pretty much every way possible, I don't think I can think of any real complain, honestly.

The best thing with the story is that it constantly motivates you to keep playing just to see what will happen. And yes, you will want to play through the game many times with the different characters, the game is that good. It is a little confusing at first to follow exactly what is going on, but it still works well, and by your second playthrough you'll for sure understand it better. The biggest thing for me in this game are the memorable characters and the story which is simply amazing.

Great 2D Platformer that understands that the Sonic gameplay isn't all about speed, but exploration which this game does wonderfully by rewarding you for patience while it still lets you go full speed if you so prefer. It is a little The true sequel to Sonic & Knuckles.
